The Move is an organization at MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP); rebuilding the public's muscle memory for democracy.
In 2020, The Move released the Civic Design Framework (CDF) white paper. A tool for building engagement processes that can move a divided nation to more just outcomes.
The CDF is intended for municipalities, community organizations, and public-facing institutions
I was the lead designer that helped create the interactive tool.
The tool was made to help users physically and visually interact with higher-level concepts. The spinner helps readers digest the material as an more approchable and relatable fun aid to their learning.
